has been a professional musician for over 18 years, specializing in mandolin, guitar, and banjo. He began his career at age 21 as half of the duo Jeff & Vida, performing thousands of shows around the US and Europe. He relocated to Nashville, TN in 2005 and has since gone on to play, tour and record with numerous bands. He began teaching in 2010 and has taught at The Country Music Hall of Fame and the Station Inn Nashville, TN, The Folk School of St Louis and numerous music camps including Nashcamp and Bluegrass Camp Ireland. Jeff's performances include The Ryman auditorium, Bluegrass Underground, Merlefest, and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival to name a few. He is a member of The International Bluegrass Music Association and was a recent panel member on education at their 2017 Leadership Bluegrass Conference. He holds a bachelors degree in music and philosophy from New York University.
